To initiate the activities of subgroup 1.1 Strategic support to the strengthening of national systems and regional networks of scientific research on drugs, we are organizing a Webinar to present this line of work, which will be held next Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 17:00 to 20:00 (Madrid time), in which we will be very pleased to have your presence, to share the expectations of your National Observatory in the development of this line of work.
Those responsible for drug policies selected by each of the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in this webinar will be able to attend.
The webinar: Mapping of national priorities for scientific research (with a focus on rights and gender) and for development of National Drug Research Agendas will be the first session of the sub-seminar.
Objectives:
– To generate empathy, clarity and commitment in the working group with respect to the
objectives and ways in which the sub-working group will function.
– To present the problem of the tensions and/or lack of links between the OND and the academy and research centers and the need to move forward with the programmed activities (resource mapping and design of a national agenda).
– To learn about the progress and experiences of the NDOs and gather inputs for the elaboration of the conceptual and methodological guides.
