In line with the EU Strategy on Drugs 2021- 2025, COPOLAD III is committed to strengthening drug policies in coherence with the 2030 Agenda, as well as a comprehensive approach that takes into account policy coherence.

COPOLAD III will promote many activities that will seek to improve public policies in the six areas of the programme, both in support to the Drug Observatories, supply, demand and EU-CELAC dialogue on drugs, as well as in the cross-cutting areas of gender, human rights, development and innovation. More than 500 activites are planned with european and LAC countries including:

• Training courses
• Conferences and seminars
• Communities of practice
• Mobilisation of European expertise
• Technical assistance
• Studies and research
• Public campaigns

Many of the activities will be carried out online, in order to optimise costs and reduce the carbon footprint of the programme.
