The European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) is organising a five-day online European Prevention Curriculum (EUPC) basic training course in Spanish. This online training starts on 24 July until 30 July.
The webinar is designed to increase the knowledge of professionals involved in science-based substance use prevention policy and decision-making. The curriculum has been adapted by COPOLAD III to the context of Latin American and Caribbean countries, the framework for action of the European programme.
What is the EUPC?
The EUPC is a training curriculum in science-based prevention for decision-, opinion-, or policy-makers at local, regional or national level. It aims to boost the application and uptake of effective modern prevention approaches, and facilitate well-informed choices about funding and implementation priorities.
The initiative is based on a manual, the European Prevention Curriculum (EUPC), which is inspired by international standards but with a European approach.
The aim of the EUPC initiative is to implement a standardised prevention training curriculum in Europe and to improve its overall effectiveness.
