The COPOLAD III Program makes available to Latin American and Caribbean countries 4 scholarships for the Winter Drug School and 4 scholarships for the Summer Scholarship School.
The scholarships are aimed at professionals, academics and experts from Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ecuador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela and Uruguay.
Procedure
First, candidates must register directly on the ISCTE-IUL website for the EDWS or EDSS.
Winter School on Drugs (EDWS) : Registration (26 February-8 March 2024) will be online
Focus: Gender and drugs
Drug Summer School (EDSS): Registration (24 June-5 July 2024, will be in Lisbon)
Focus: Psychostimulants in Europe: Health and Safety
These summer scholarships cover registration fees, although travel and accommodation will be paid by the participants.
Please send an email to copolad@emcdda.europa.eu indicating the scholarship you are applying for (EDWS or EDSS). They should attach a one-page motivation letter and a two-page CV. Applicants may be contacted by EMCDDA to schedule an online interview for selection purposes.
