The COPOLAD Programme regrets the assassination of the Paraguayan prosecutor Marcelo Pecci, who has participated in various programs promoted by the European Union in the fight against organized crime.
We would like to express our deepest condolences to his family and to all Paraguayan institutions.
His murder is yet another unfortunate example of the power of organized crime against which we are fighting and reinforces even more the sense of our work and the need to join forces from Europe and America in the face of a reality that clearly transcends borders.
