This Guide is the result of technical cooperation between the National Commission for Mental Health and Addictions (CONASAMA) and the Cooperation Programme between Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union on Drug Policies (COPOLAD III), with the technical support of Episteme Social. Its purpose is to provide Mexico with the necessary resources to address the phenomenon of methamphetamine and fentanyl use in the country.
Under the same initiative, two additional key documents for the professional and community-based response to the use of these substances were published in 2024: the Technical Fieldwork Guide for Addressing Methamphetamine and Fentanyl Use in Mexico and the Toolkit for Addressing Methamphetamine and Fentanyl Use in Mexico.
